In a practical lab, students addressed 911 call routing challenges using generative AI to simulate callers and test decision-making. This low-cost training approach could expedite new call takers\u2019 readiness. Sarah Zheng appreciated the opportunity to engage in policy discussions with experienced policymakers.<\/p>\n
Globally, AI is reshaping national security and geopolitical strategies, according to Sullivan. His class examines how countries like the U.S. and China manage AI’s potential and risks. Sullivan noted that while not everyone needs to be a technical expert, understanding AI’s policy impact is crucial.<\/p>\n
Weinstein explained that integrating technology into the curriculum aims to provoke thought on its use in defense, cyber issues, and governance in the digital age.
